CoPE (certificate of Personal Effectiveness) is an alternative learning pathway, that allows pupils an imaginative way of gaining an accredited Level 2 Qualification (Equivalent to a B grade GCSE). The learners are able to take control of their own learning experience, choosing topics that they use to build a Portfolio of Evidence. This allows the pupils to develop the skills required by modern employees by letting them undertake tasks, ranging from organising a sport tournament to undertaking research into the effectiveness of Renewable energies.
