This is a vocational qualification offered to pupils that is delivered and assessed at Afan College, Port Talbot. Learners will actively engage in a number of different activates throughout the course, ranging from painting and decoration to plastering to brick work. The hands on approach is something that is a huge motivating factor in the successful nature of the course, however, pupils will also learn the theory behind these skills too. Pupils will be transported to and from the college twice a week, which will be provided by the school, they will also require overalls and boots, but again this will be provided by the school.
