Annual Report to Parents

Fantastic private view of the Schools Art Network Exhibition last night with the Visual Arts @ Llwyn y Bryn & Gower College at the Swansea Grand Theatre. Pupils from Cymer Afan’s GCSE Art & Design course were selected to participate along with other GCSE, AS & A level students in Swansea & Neath Port Talbot schools and were accredited with a ‘Schools Art Network – Certificate of Achievement’. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who attended the exhibition, I’m hope you enjoyed! The exhibition will continue to run until Monday 3rd July.

7 teams from Year 7 took part in the annual Mega Maths Quiz on Wed 28th June. The pupils used their fantastic numeracy skills to compete against other South West Wales schools. They participated in a series of rounds: quick fire buzzer, observation and finance.
